Pedagogical Competence Studies

The educational program Pedagogical Competence Studies is intended for graduates of non-teaching fields of study (universities or high schools) who are interested in obtaining a professional qualification according to Decree No. 317/2005 Coll. The study is adapted to the Czech legal environment. On further education of pedagogical staff, accreditation commission and career system of pedagogical staff in following programs:

  • high school vocational teacher
  • secondary school general education teacher
  • teacher of general education subjects of the 2nd level of primary school
  • high school practical teacher
  • tutor

Prerequisites for study
 

The educational program is intended for graduates of university studies in an accredited master’s degree program (Mgr./MA, Ing.), which corresponds to the character of one of the secondary school subjects.

Proper completion of pedagogical studies is tied to the successful completion of the master’s program of the applicant.

Graduates of this educational program will acquire the eligibility to teach professional subject (s) close to the completed study program (engineering, informatics, economics, biology, ecology and the environment, electrical engineering, chemistry, informatics, cybernetics, food industry, law, engineering, agriculture, natural sciences).

The educational program is intended for graduates of university studies in an accredited master’s degree program (Mgr./MA, Ing. – including graduates of linguistics), which corresponds to the character of one of the secondary school subjects.

Proper completion of pedagogical studies is tied to the successful completion of the master’s program of the applicant.

Graduates of this educational program will acquire the eligibility to teach secondary school subject (s) close to the completed study program (engineering, informatics, economics, biology, ecology and the environment, electrical engineering, chemistry, informatics, cybernetics, food industry, law, engineering, agriculture, natural sciences, languages).

The educational program is intended for graduates of university studies in an accredited master’s degree program (Mgr./MA, Ing. – including graduates of linguistics), which corresponds to the character of one of the secondary school subjects. Proper completion of pedagogical studies is tied to the successful completion of the master’s program of the applicant.

Graduates of this educational program will acquire the eligibility to teach primary school subject (s) close to the completed study program (engineering, informatics, economics, biology, ecology and the environment, electrical engineering, chemistry, informatics, cybernetics, food industry, law, engineering, agriculture, natural sciences, languages).

The program is designed for graduates of complete secondary vocational education, especially agricultural, technical, engineering, food, environmental, construction and related fields of education. The field of study is not intended for graduates of grammar schools and conservatories.

Graduates of this educational program will acquire a professional qualification to perform the teaching profession in the segment of practical subjects at secondary schools, high schools and vocational schools.

The condition for admission to the study is a secondary school education completed by a school-leaving examination (A-levels).

Graduates of this educational program will obtain a professional qualification to perform the work of an educator in school groups, boarding schools and youth homes in accordance with Act No. 563/2004 Coll., On pedagogical staff and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended and § 3 of Decree No. 317 / 2005 Coll.
